The Harbor Science and Arts Charter School is actively seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Middle School ELA teacher
and
Middle School Mathematics teacher
Candidates must be either 7-12 or 5-9 New York State certified and have the desire and passion to toil in an urban education setting.
Qualified candidates should be familiar with the utilization of data reports from assessments to inform instruction, in-depth lesson planning, and Common Core Standards alignment, as well as colleagueship with co-workers on curriculum design and implementation.
The position requires a 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. work day.
Competitive salary (upwards of $60,000 - $70,000, possible).
